BloomingDuo

Saturday, May 20th at 7:30PM in the Sanctuary of Asbury UMC

The BloomingDuo (harp and violin) will perform a concert at Asbury UMC on Saturday, May 20th at 7:30 P.M.  Fan-Fen Tai earned her Doctorate in harp from Indiana University, studying with internationally known Susann McDonald. She is a native of Taiwan and is a professor at IU. She started playing piano at age 4 and started harp at age 7. She has won many harp competitions in Europe and the USA.

In 2014, she formed BloomingDuo with violinist Dr. Ji-Woon Jung, a Korean native.  Besides the duet music, Fan-Fen will also play harp solos “Satin Doll” by Duke Ellington and a medley of Joyful Hymns.  These two musicians are some of the best Indiana University has to offer.

As always, there is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be taken.
