There is an tremendous need for food in our community – approximately a 40% increase in numbers of people served. Last year alone, over 200,000 pounds of food was purchased to supplement donations and meet the need. The United Way and The Bartholomew County Food Insecurity Coalition are planning a massive food drive for the month of April.
Asbury is participating in this food drive and your donations can be dropped off at the Church. Here are some of the items that are needed: peanut butter, soups, cereal, canned pastas (beefaroni, ravioli), pasta, pasta sauce, rice, canned veggies & fruits, jelly, and instant mashed potatoes.
