Youth Leaders

Lisa Earnest, High School Youth Leader

I was raised in the church and gave my life to Christ the summer before 5th grade. I had a lot of self-image issues in high school and being grounded to my youth group and the close friends I had there, friends who are still my friends today, got me through those difficult times.

High school youth group is the foundation for how students will live their lives in college and beyond. I hope that the Holy Spirit enables Asbury’s youth program to touch the lives of students and lead them to a lifelong commitment to Christ.

I enjoy seeing history through traveling to famous places, buildings, and museums. I work at Cummins as a Six Sigma Black Belt, which means that I fix problems every day and strive to implement and improve processes.

I met my husband, Kevin, at Purdue through a mutual friend who had been telling us about each other for more than a year before giving Kevin my number. We married in October 2012. We have a crazy dog named Spunky and two daughters, Aurora and Elizabeth.
