Daily Bible Reading: Ephesians 5-6

[19] And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. [20] I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should. Ephesians 6:19-20 NLT
These two verses remind us of Paul’s life priority. They remind us about what mattered most to him. He did not ask people to pray that he would win the lottery. He did not ask people to pray that he would be healthy. He did not ask people to pray that he would be comfortable. No, he asked people to pray that he would be a faithful witness of Jesus Christ.
How does that compare with your priorities and prayers today?
