Daily Bible Reading: Job 19

Throughout Job’s conversations with his friends, they have consistently held the view that Job’s troubles are a consequence of Job’s since. They are incorrect, but the actual cause was beyond their ability to know.
This is true for many of the troubles we face. What is our response during such moments? Job’s response was to still hang onto his trust in God. This does not mean that he liked what was happening, only that he chose to trust God in spite of the current events.
Job 19:25-27 NLT
[25 ] “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. [26] And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! [27] I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!
