Giving While Worship is Suspended

Several people have asked about how they can continue to support Asbury financially during the period when normal weekly in person worship has been suspended. Even though in person worship has begun again, we are doing so on a limited basis. Our typical means for giving is not possible for much of our congregation. However, there are several ways we can still give. Information regarding the different ways we can give under normal circumstances are located here.

Below is a summary of the options available until we can worship together once again.

  • Church Office – Gifts may be made by writing a check and mailing it to the church office. Although the church office is closed until such time as the ‘stay at home’ order is lifted, mail is still being delivered. The church address is: 1751 27th Street, Columbus, IN 47201.
  • Direct Debit – Gifts may be made by authorizing Asbury to regularly withdraw contributions from a giver’s bank account and have those gifts deposited in the church’s checking account. Instructions and a form for starting or modifying direct debit is here. Questions about direct debit should be directed to the bookkeeper, Shawn Wadell. You may contact her at: bookkeeper@asburycolumbus.org or 812-372-4555.
  • Online Giving – Giving online via a debit card or a credit card can be done here. Questions about online giving should be directed to the bookkeeper, Shawn Wadell. You may contact her at: bookkeeper@asburycolumbus.org or 812-372-4555.

If you have questions related to giving, please contact Shawn by email (bookkeeper@asburycolumbus.org) or phone (812-372-4555).

Since the office is closed, please leave a detailed message and your phone number, Shawn will get back with you quickly. Voice mail left on the telephone is being checked several times each day.
