Read Acts 20 today.

One of the things we find in this chapter are Paul’s words to the leaders of Ephesus. He knew these would likely be his last words with them. His words included the phrases, “guard yourselves” and, “watch out.” These phrases imply there was a real threat to their faith, and they needed to take active steps in dealing with those threats.
How would you describe your approach to nurturing and guarding your faith? Is there something you do actively, intentionally, and regularly? Or is your approach to do nothing and hope for the best? There are many practices for nurturing our faith. Seek the one(s) that help you, and make it/them an active part of your life.
Acts 20:28-31 NLT
“So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock- his church, purchased with his own blood- over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as elders. [29] I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock. [30] Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following. [31] Watch out! Remember the three years I was with you- my constant watch and care over you night and day, and my many tears for you.
