Read Habakkuk 3 today.

This is the last chapter in Habakkuk. Tomorrow we read Zephaniah 1.
Habakkuk knew things were not going exactly as he hoped. His conversation with God was not altogether satisfying. Habakkuk wanted immediate results, but God had His own timing.
This left Habakkuk with a choice. He had to choose. There was no straddling the fence on this. Would he stand with God, even when he did not understand or agree with what God was doing? Or would he turn his back on God?
This is the same situation many of us face during the challenging moments of our lives. Bad news comes in many shapes and sizes. We do not understand, and we ask God, “Why?” And the answer we get from God is the same one received by Habakkuk. It is, “Trust me.”
In the midst of the Habakkuk’s storm, he chose to trust God even though the circumstances were not to his liking. When you are in the tough situations, do you know what your choice will be?
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NLT
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, [18] yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! [19] The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
