Read John 13 today.

One of the things we find in this chapter is when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples. He did not need to do this. It was the task of a servant. Yet in doing this humble task, Jesus was setting an example for all who would claim to be His followers.
Jesus was a servant. There was no task too menial to be beneath him. Or me. Or us. What do you see that needs to be done today?
John 13:12-15 NLT
After washing their feet, he put on his robe again and sat down and asked, “Do you understand what I was doing? [13] You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. [14] And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. [15] I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you.
