Read John 21 today.

Tomorrow we will begin reading Paul’s letter to the Galatians.
This chapter includes the story of Jesus’ appearing to some of His disciples after His resurrection. It happened on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, and the disciples were fishing.
Read the words Jesus used in verses 4 and 6. The combination of His voice and the phrases He used resulted in the disciples coming to the realization of who He was. It made me wonder, “Do I know Jesus well enough that I would recognize Him by the sound of His voice? Or the unique phrases I have heard Him speak?”
John 21:4-7 NLT
At dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was. [5] He called out, “Fellows, have you caught any fish?” “No,” they replied.
[6] Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it. [7] Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic (for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore.
