Read John 21 today.

This is the last chapter in the Gospel of John. Next, we will read Matthew chapters 1 and 2, and then begin reading the Gospel of Luke.
John 21 tells the story of Jesus’ meeting with His disciples on the shore of the Sea of Galilee after His resurrection. Jesus had already been talking with Peter about some things in Peter’s future. Peter asked a question about what would happen with John. Jesus’ answer is one we might all need to consider. Let us not be so concerned about what God is doing through someone else that we forget what we are supposed to be doing.
What is the assignment God has given you? How will you keep that assignment in front of you today?
John 21:20-22 NLT
Peter turned around and saw behind them the disciple Jesus loved-the one who had leaned over to Jesus during supper and asked, “Lord, who will betray you?” [21] Peter asked Jesus, “What about him, Lord?” [22] Jesus replied, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me.”
