Read Matthew 28 today.

This is the last chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. Tomorrow we will begin reading Hebrews, one chapter each day.
The last chapter of Matthew includes the account of Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus’ resurrection is a big deal. If the resurrection did not happen, why would we pay any attention to Jesus? But if the resurrection did happen, how can we ignore Jesus?
This chapter also contains what is known as ‘The Great Commission,’ which I refer to as the job description of every Christian. It is what Jesus commanded us to do. (If the resurrection did happen, shouldn’t we pay attention to the commands of Jesus?) What part of your day do you set aside for making disciples?
Matthew 28:18-20 NLT
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. [19] Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. [20] Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
