Read Romans 15 today.

One of the things Paul included in this chapter is a statement about his ambition. He was not satisfied with knowing the Good News himself. He desired that others would also have the opportunity to hear and believe. This was so important to him that he delayed doing other things he really wanted to do in order to share the Good News.
I wonder how many people sitting in churches today have that ambition. Have we become satisfied with knowing the Good News ourselves? Do our hearts ache because there are people we know, people with whom we live, or shop, or play who do not know God’s love?
Father, set a blazing fire in our hearts for those who do not know You. Amen.
Romans 15:20-22 NLT
My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else. [21] I have been following the plan spoken of in the Scriptures, where it says, “Those who have never been told about him will see, and those who have never heard of him will understand.” [22] In fact, my visit to you has been delayed so long because I have been preaching in these places.
