Read Song of Songs (Song of Solomon) 4 today

This chapter has a clear attempt to use descriptive language to describe his thoughts and feelings for his lover. It is probably a good exercise in our relationship with our spouse, and also in our relationship with God. (However, I am not sure if Karen would appreciate if I compared her hair to a flock of goats, no matter which slopes they were winding down.)
Song of Solomon 4:1-2 NLT
You are beautiful, my darling, beautiful beyond words. Your eyes are like doves behind your veil. Your hair falls in waves, like a flock of goats winding down the slopes of Gilead. [2] Your teeth are as white as sheep, recently shorn and freshly washed. Your smile is flawless, each tooth matched with its twin.
